Shafer Sampler

The Shafer Sampler has one of each of these varietals:

2003 Shafer Napa Merlot
2003 Shafer Firebreak
2003 Shafer Napa Cabernet
2004 Shafer Chardonnay

What a classy dinner party this would make. These wines are not easy to get, are very limited and won't last long.

2005 Matua Paretai Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

Paretai Sauvignon Blanc is produced in a wine style that is most suited to early consumption. To fully appreciate the fresh vibrancy of this wine it should be consumed within 24 months of its production unless more mature sauvignon blanc characters are desired.

Distinctive aromas of gooseberry and passionfruit dominate with hints of lime and tropical fruits. Layers of tropical fruit flavours are enhanced by the well balanced and refreshing zingy acid and lingering seductive finish.

2002 Paradigm Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville Estate Napa Valley

It strikes me on tasting this 2002 Cabernet how consistent the wines of Paradigm have been. Other than slight vintage variation, the aromas and flavors are remarkably similar year to year. Again this vineyard has produced a beautiful ruby/garnet colored wine. Aromas of ripe cherry, berry, and plum are accented with a complimentary dose of sweet toasty French oak. The front dominates in the nose and mouth. Very big, round and mouthfilling. Silky yet powerful tannins are light but add structure. An easy wine to drink and enjoy! -Heidi Peterson Barrett, Winemaker

Heitz Legendary Napa Valley Cabernets

2001 Heitz Cellars "Martha's Vineyard" Cabernet Sauvignon
The rich, intense color catches your eye immediately as the wine is poured into the glass. Swirl it, and take pleasure in the distinctive and enduring minty aroma that is so characteristic of this celebrated proprietary clone.
This is an exciting wine from the Oakville appellation with a track record dating back to its first vintage in 1966. There is nothing like a Martha's Vineyard Cabernet - tried and true, it is a remarkable treasure from the Napa Valley.
