    T-Vine Cellars New Releases

"2006 will be my 15th vintage of T-Vine. What began as a passion evolved into a long love affair. T-Vine, now fully mature, has achieved more than I ever dreamed. So it’s time to SLOW DOWN, take Cletus on more walks, listen to the rain, spend more time in my robe with a cup of coffee warming my hands and share lots of time practicing yoga with Ulrika (my love and teacher)."

"This coming year I encourage you to use your fireplace more often, light lots of candles, splurge a little & spoil yourself and of course, drink lots of good wine. Lets relish in it all."

    Here’s to NOW baby!
    Peace and Love,

    Greg Brown

    Shafer Sampler

The Shafer Sampler has one of each of these varietals:

    2003 Shafer Napa Merlot
    2003 Shafer Firebreak
    2003 Shafer Napa Cabernet
    2004 Shafer Chardonnay

What a classy dinner party this would make. These wines are not easy to get, are very limited and won't last long.

2005 Matua Paretai Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

Paretai Sauvignon Blanc is produced in a wine style that is most suited to early consumption. To fully appreciate the fresh vibrancy of this wine it should be consumed within 24 months of its production unless more mature sauvignon blanc characters are desired.

Distinctive aromas of gooseberry and passionfruit dominate with hints of lime and tropical fruits. Layers of tropical fruit flavours are enhanced by the well balanced and refreshing zingy acid and lingering seductive finish.

2002 Paradigm Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville Estate Napa Valley

It strikes me on tasting this 2002 Cabernet how consistent the wines of Paradigm have been. Other than slight vintage variation, the aromas and flavors are remarkably similar year to year. Again this vineyard has produced a beautiful ruby/garnet colored wine. Aromas of ripe cherry, berry, and plum are accented with a complimentary dose of sweet toasty French oak. The front dominates in the nose and mouth. Very big, round and mouthfilling. Silky yet powerful tannins are light but add structure. An easy wine to drink and enjoy! -Heidi Peterson Barrett, Winemaker

    Heitz Legendary Napa Valley Cabernets

2001 Heitz Cellars "Martha's Vineyard" Cabernet Sauvignon
The rich, intense color catches your eye immediately as the wine is poured into the glass. Swirl it, and take pleasure in the distinctive and enduring minty aroma that is so characteristic of this celebrated proprietary clone.
This is an exciting wine from the Oakville appellation with a track record dating back to its first vintage in 1966. There is nothing like a Martha's Vineyard Cabernet - tried and true, it is a remarkable treasure from the Napa Valley.

2001 Silver Oak Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2001 Silver Oak Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a profound and powerful wine with great finesse. It has a deep garnet color and a concentrated nose of cassis, chocolate, cloves, nutmeg and vanilla. This wine illustrates great depth and balance on the palate, with a sweet core of cassis fruit and a long finish redolent of berries and dark chocolate.

2003 Cakebread Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

Enticing aroma of ripe black cherry, berry and currant fruit complemented by scents of vanilla, sweet herbs, cocoa, and coffee bean. On the palate, the wine's lush, deep, mouth-filling berry and cassis flavors carry a hint of tea-leaf spiciness and are seamlessly balanced by firm, supple tannins, leading to a lusciously long, rich, oak-enhanced finish. Delicious to drink now, this classic Napa Valley Cabernet will continue to develop in the bottle.
